Working with the asanas of hatha yoga, this yoga retreat will elaborate on how each of the postures relates to our physical and subtle bodies. This includes developing awareness for how the poses connect to and open our chakras and meridian systems. Standing and sitting routines are used as a method to guide the practice through the energetic anatomy. This is done in a way that leads to greater awareness and spiritual development.
In addition to hatha yoga and pranayama instruction we will also offer intensive Jnana yoga sessions that work with then mental-emotional and spiritual aspects of the chakras. This work has the ability to release stagnant emotional and mental energy while allowing one to have a greater awareness with the True Self. Through guided inquiry and meditation you will awaken to the ever-present awareness that is your True Nature.
